Job Title: Heat Interface (HIU) & District Heating Service & Maintenance Engineer

Location: London (in and around the M25)

Reporting to: Commercial Ops Supervisor, Head of Commercial Service & Maintenance

BSW Heating Limited is a domestic and commercial heating servicing, maintenance, and installation company. We provide a professional, high-quality service across the Southeast. Our teams manage domestic and commercial installation projects, as well as repair and maintenance contracts for a range of clients including housing associations, local authorities, education providers and hospitals.

Overall Purpose:

The successful HIU Engineer will be tasked with providing service/maintenance, repair, and fault finding/ diagnosing breakdowns on HIU and heating system within a domestic premise connected to a commercial centralised heating system. The company's sites will include buildings such as social housing, supported living, and other similar sites.

Principal Job Responsibilities:

  • Service and Breakdown
  • Fault Finding
  • Commissioning
  • Call-out
  • Carry out minor installation works
  • Work in-line health and safety procedures.
  • Identify Risks and Hazards
  • Produce detailed reports on works carried out and works required.

Applicant must have:

  • Hold a full UK driving licence.
  • Be able to demonstrate a proven track record of employment in this sector.
  • Have a good understanding of the HIU System.
  • Hold qualifications to work on Unvented systems.
