HIU Engineer (Service & Install)

Location: London & Surrounding Areas

Salary: £40,000 £48,000 per annum

Package: Company van, fuel card, tools, mobile phone, on-call rota

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HIU Engineer to support installations, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of Heat Interface Units (HIUs) across London and the surrounding region. This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys delivering first-class technical solutions to residential and commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, commission, and maintain Heat Interface Units (HIUs) and related equipment

  • Diagnose and repair faults quickly and effectively

  • Complete planned preventative maintenance to ensure system reliability

  • Provide clear, professional communication with clients and site teams

  • Accurately record job details in line with company processes

  • Take part in the on-call rota as required

Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrable experience working with HIUs or within the wider HVAC sector

  • Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills

  • Full UK driving licence (essential)

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage own workload

  • Relevant technical qualifications (City & Guilds, NVQ, HVAC training) preferred
