Typical Activities
Working in collaboration with internal stakeholders across Finance, Enterprise, and wider business functions, the Finance Manager will lead and support the financial operations of the UK business.

  • Provide leadership to the finance team, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
  • Develop effective working relationships with senior stakeholders and act as a trusted financial advisor.
  • Ensure financial controls, systems and processes are maintained and continuously improved.
  • Oversee monthly management accounts, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Manage VAT, WHT and other financial compliance requirements.
  • Oversee credit control and purchase ledger activities.
  • Oversee payroll and pension administration and associated compliance.
  • Support project accounting, revenue recognition and project performance monitoring.
  • Contribute to system and process transformation initiatives.
  • Promote knowledge sharing, innovation and continuous improvement.

Desirable

  • Experience working in a secure, technology or IT-focused environment.
  • Knowledge of IFRS/FRS 101 reporting standards.
  • Familiarity with project-based revenue recognition methodologies.
  • Experience with system transformation or finance process improvement.
  • Understanding of UK Government or Defence sector environments.

Qualifications & Eligibility
To be eligible for this position you must:

  • Be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with at least 5 years in a senior finance role; and,
  • Be a British citizen; and
  • Hold or be eligible for UK National Security Vetting (NSV) - SC level clearance.
