Position Summary

We are now looking for a commercially minded and astute FP&A Manager to join the business. You will be highly analytical with experience of FP&A. You will be able to handle large amounts of market and commercial data partnering with both commercial and operations teams.

The role includes budgeting, monthly forecasting, strategic plans, and project work.

This role would appeal to someone who has an inquiring and curious mind, likes variety, a fast-paced environment, and is excited about where this role could lead them in the longer term.

We are looking for qualified or nearly qualified accountants with great potential, a drive to succeed and the ability to grow with the business as its demands evolve. A track record of achievement in previous roles, a sleeves-rolled up attitude, and someone who is attracted to working in an entrepreneurial set-up are all sought after.

Key Responsibilities

Maintaining and Developing High quality management reporting packs as the needs of the business evolve (Continuous improvement mindset)
Designing high impact visualisation of financial analysis and data sets
Taking responsibility for population and sanity checks of month end reporting presentations
Ability to quickly identify errors in data sets and improvement requirements required from the transactional team
Liaison with company leadership, including finance and operations, alongside the Group finance team to derive high quality variance analysis
Co-ordination and management of monthly forecasts - consolidating inputs from senior business partners across the group
Development of forecasting & budgeting models - evaluation and refinement of process as the Group grows
Reporting to senior stakeholders on group performance providing analysis and reporting to support business goals
Supporting business leaders identifying challenges and proposing solutions
Providing timely and accurate financial data to facilitate decision making
Supporting corporate finance activities including fundraising and financial modelling
Ad hoc financial analysis
Supporting and identifying opportunities for Continuous improvement of financial and business processes including consideration of Data manipulation & reporting tools, automation and AI.

Key Skills and Experience

Microsoft Office (Excel / PowerPoint / Teams / Power BI)
Finance qualifications including UK GAAP knowledge
Strong Knowledge of key financial processes including Budgeting, Forecasting, Modelling and Reporting
Knowledge of financial KPIs
Strong understanding of 3 statement financial modelling
Strong financial modelling skills
Strong data handling skills
Experience with Business Intelligence tools
Strong analytical ability and experience in insightful reporting
Ability to communicate complex concepts in non-technical terms
Ability to understand complex problems with an attention to detail
Ability to work independently as well as with a team
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously / strong organisational skills
