Assist in providing a thorough analysis across the UK Key account base, identifying sales trends, managing orderbook opportunity & risk and affecting future sales planning.
JOB MISSION:
Assist in providing a thorough analysis across the UK Key account base, identifying sales trends, managing orderbook opportunity & risk and affecting future sales planning. Joining a team of 3 ideal candidates will provide key support for the UK senior business planners and across the UK Team. You must have strong Excel skills and the ability to communicate effectively to all internal stakeholders.
We offer hybrid working and flexibility to working hours to accommodate for a healthy work-life balance. Ideal candidates will be in the office 3 days per week.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Own the weekly stock, sales and intake process to understand sales pacing at a key account level, reviewing any opportunities or risks with the senior business planner
- Maintain orderbook health through weekly processes, focusing on forecasting through orderbook sheets and utilizing sales reporting to aid decision making from our data provider SPS
- Manage the key account orderbook flow, conversion and realignment, working with customer service to maintain an accurate orderbook
- Assist in producing reports on sell out, sales performance and KPI's to feed back to the business, feeding upwards to the senior business planner
- Assist in opportunities of free stock and control of stock turn
- Assist in data entry & build formal reviews of our main Global forecasting tool (Vanguard) – rollups & review
- Provide a point of contact, build strong customer relationships with customers merchandising resource to collaborate & help drive efficient decision making
- Collaborate and build strong relationships with Account Managers and across the UK retail Team
- Support the wider sales team at busy periods
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
- IT literate – Microsoft Office skills are essential ideally proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Dynamic team player with the ability to create strong cross functional partnerships across all levels
- Commercial acumen and strong relationship skills
- Remain up to date with industry's best practices
- Outstanding verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Excellent organisation skills with attention to detail
- Strong follow-up skills and time management
