Community Engagement
About Us
We're a leading home care provider dedicated to helping older adults live safely and happily in their own homes. Our team is passionate about making a difference — not just to our clients, but also across the local community.
We're now looking for a Community Engagement & Events Coordinator to help us grow our presence locally by building meaningful relationships, organising community events, and spreading awareness of the services we provide.
Role Overview
This is a hands-on, varied role where no two days are the same. You'll be out and about in the community - hosting coffee mornings, "Singing for the Brain" sessions, chair-based exercise classes, and other similar activities, while also representing our company at local events, fairs, and social groups.
Your goal will be to bring people together, promote health and wellbeing, and increase awareness of our services — ultimately helping more families access the care and support they need.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organise, and deliver engaging community events such as coffee mornings, information sessions, "Singing for the Brain," and wellbeing activities.
- Build strong relationships with local groups, churches, GP surgeries, community centres, and organisations.
- Represent the company at local fairs, health events, and networking opportunities.
- Promote events through social media, newsletters, and local publications.
- Collect feedback, photos, and stories from events to share online and within the community.
- Identify opportunities to raise awareness and generate new client enquiries.
- Support recruitment and onboarding initiatives, such as open days or community drop-in sessions for potential care staff.
- Maintain event calendars, track engagement, and report on community outcomes.
Skills & Experience
- Friendly, approachable, and confident communicating with a wide range of people.
- Organised and creative, with an ability to plan and deliver small- to medium-scale events.
- Experience in community engagement, events, care, or marketing is desirable but not essential — a positive attitude and passion for people matter most.
- Able to work independently and take initiative.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car preferred.
Why Join Us?
- Opportunity to make a genuine difference in your local community.
- Supportive and friendly team culture.
- Flexible working options.
- Training and ongoing professional development.
- A rewarding role where your creativity and community spirit will help change lives.
To Apply:
If you're proactive, people-focused, and love bringing the community together — we'd love to hear from you.
Apply now and help us make a lasting difference in the lives of local residents and families.
