Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Child Care Provider to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality care and support to children, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, the ability to communicate effectively with both children and parents, and experience in creating and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs.

Duties

  • Supervise and engage with children in a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Develop and implement care plans that cater to the individual needs of each child.
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress, behaviour, and any concerns.
  • Organise activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
  • Maintain a clean and organised space for play and learning.
  • Drive children to various activities or appointments as required.
  • Collaborate with other childcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for children.
  • Stay informed about best practices in childcare and participate in ongoing training.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience working with children in a childcare setting is essential.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to develop care plans that meet the diverse needs of children.
  • IT skills for maintaining records and communicating effectively.
  • A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting children as necessary.
  • A caring attitude with a commitment to providing high-quality childcare.
  • Relevant qualifications in childcare or early years education are advantageous.
