The BPRE team at Deutsche Numis is one of the largest sectors from a United Kingdom (UK) client coverage perspective, with 24 listed corporate clients with an average market cap of £1.6 billion. As a sector team of 10 investment bankers, the Deutsche Numis BPRE team have raised £6 billion in equity for clients and advised on £7 billion of Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) since 2017. We have strong deal flow with our project pipeline across both capital raising and M&A transactions.
You will work within a high performing sector coverage team at Deutsche Numis but have the opportunity to work alongside colleagues in the wider Deutsche Bank platform, including across the broader Europe, the Middle East & Africa (EMEA) Industrials and Real Estate sector teams and product teams.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic advice to clients around equity story positioning, fundraising requirements, M&A and defence advice
- Support with M&A, Equity Capital Markets (ECM) and other transaction processes within the BPRE sector, liaising with clients, internal teams, regulators and managing other advisers
- Undertake and develop, strong technical skills including financial, valuation and sector knowledge alongside analysis of risk
- Coordinate and produce marketing materials for target corporate clients and financial sponsors
- Service clients day-to-day, expressing relevant information and communicating clearly in meetings and emails; delivering solutions to clients using sector, market and product knowledge
- Engage with the broader Deutsche Numis and Deutsche Bank platforms to help deliver for our clients
Your Skills And Experience
- Prior experience within wider Industrials or Real Estate sectors preferable but not required
- Previous relevant experience within an Investment Banking or Corporate Finance role
- Technical skills around financial modelling and transactional experience. Good communication skills together with interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate effectively, whether presenting to clients or senior executives
- Able to develop creative solutions to meet client needs and identify cross-product opportunities
- Partnership minded with a strive for excellence in what you do, underpinned by strong analytical skills
- Operate with dynamism, creativity and hustle to deliver superior outcomes for clients working as a team
