The Yard Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the yard Their duties include:
- Coordinating the movement, storage, and logistics of goods.
- Managing inventory and performing cycle counts.
- Supervising staff and overseeing maintenance tasks.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Liaising with customers and suppliers.
- Organizing the delivery and collection of material
The successful candidate will have every opportunity to understand every aspect of the business and should they desire opportunities are available to promote through the company. Remuneration subject to experience.
Based in a rural location, working outdoors, generally unsupervised, this opportunity gives the winning candidate the opportunity to make their mark. Forklift training is preferable but can be given, more essential is the willingness to manual handle, work in a team as well as independently.
