Role: Yard Worker Full Time 7.30 am to 5 pm Mon to Fri and alternate Saturdays

Sector: Preserved Timber Products Limited Farming / Building Supplies

Location: Builth Road Builth Wells LD2 3RG

Salary: Range from £28,000 to £31,000

We are recruiting a Yard Worker for our site at Builth Road. Ideally someone with experience within the builders/farm' merchants' sector.

As a Yard Worker the role will involve manual handling, as well as using equipment to load and unload deliveries, interacting with customers and making sure they are satisfied with service levels, as well as ensuring the yard is kept presented to a high standard and liaising with the Office Staff/Manager regularly. It is essential that you can use your initiative and are able to manage your time efficiently. Additionally fork lift/telescopic experience is required.

This full time Yard Worker role can provide an excellent foundation for a successful career in the builders/farmers' merchants sector whilst supplying a competitive salary.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in materials handling and warehouse operations
  • Proficient in forklift operation and safety protocols
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to perform heavy lifting
  • Experience in shipping and receiving, including loading and unloading materials
  • Background in construction is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £12.50-£13.50 per hour
