We are unable to offer sponsorship for this role .

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide high-quality care and assistance to individuals within their own supported living accommodation, who may have been diagnosed with mental health issues / Learning difficulties . The successful candidates will have a genuine passion to promote independence by working with individuals to develop their life skills and provide the highest quality of care and support. This role involves supporting with daily activities, health monitoring, and emotional well-being, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. You will also support with community outings or social activities to promote engagement and well-being

Ideal candidates will have experience in care, preferably of working with adults that may present behaviors that challenge , although full training will be provided. Candidates should also have a strong commitment to patient-centered care and compliance with healthcare standards. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those within our care.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in community care, or long-term care preferred
  • Experience working with people that may present behaviors that challenge
  • Experience working with people with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, is advantageous
  • Strong communication skills and patience when working with individuals requiring special attention or behavioral support
  • Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for others
  • Excellent I.T Skills - as we use digital care records

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £12.70-£13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 48 per week
