We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. Responsibilities
- Assist children with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Implement care plans tailored to individual needs, monitoring progress and making necessary adjustments.
- Foster positive relationships with children, providing emotional support and encouragement.
- Communicate effectively with families, sharing updates on progress and addressing any concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and any incidents that occur during shifts.
- Drive to various locations as required for home visits or community activities.
- Utilise IT systems for record keeping, reporting, and communication purposes.
Experience
- Previous experience working with children is essential; experience in childcare settings is highly desirable.
- A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate travel between locations.
- Familiarity with developing and implementing care plans is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills are crucial for interacting with children, families, and team members.
