Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and restaurant management, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires effective leadership skills and the ability to manage a diverse team while ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate front of house operations, ensuring high standards of service and hospitality are maintained.
  • Manage staff schedules, training, and performance evaluations to foster a positive work environment.
  • Oversee food preparation and production processes, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food service.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, bar, and service stations.
  • Assist in menu planning and development alongside culinary team members.
  • Monitor inventory levels of food and beverage supplies, placing orders as necessary.
  • Implement health and safety policies to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
  • Strong culinary knowledge with experience in food preparation, cooking, and food production.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations.
  • Previous experience in front of house operations, including serving and barista duties is advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
