Job Role: Barista & Sandwich Artist
Nord seeks a Barista & Sandwich Artist to join our team Craft coffee creations, build mouthwatering toasties, and share the warmth of our Swedish & Nordic treats. This role requires barista experience, a deep understanding of coffee, and a love for making sandwiches.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and serving consistently high-quality hot drinks at speed, including mastering latte art, and helping to make fresh sandwiches in a fast-paced environment.
- Replenishing stock and ensuring products are presented to a high standard, as we maintain high standards as we grow.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Working closely with the Commercial Manager and supervisors to resolve day-to-day issues.
- Ensuring that food and beverage operations are an integral part of the visitor experience that reflects our brand.
- Delivering exceptional customer service and high presentation standards that consistently exceed visitor expectations.
- Promoting and being responsible for health & safety and food safety.
Essential Criteria:
- Previous experience as a Barista in a busy, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service skills and a confident communicator.
- A team player who can maintain good working relationships with colleagues.
- Able to work flexibly, including regular weekends and bank holidays, and ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard.
Hours per week to be offered is 16-20 hours.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From £12.21 per hour
