What difference will you make?

This role supports our therapy team to continue and progress the events, workshops and activities for our members including our free 30 minute therapy taster sessions.

In the long term you will be assisting us with the future success of the organisation and our work to educate and raise awareness of Black mental health issues in the community.

What are we looking for?

Essential Experience
A keen interest in working in a small charitable organisation and making a difference to health inequalities and breaking Black mental health stigma. Able to align with our core values to provide free mental health support.

  • Willingness to work as part of a small team with an enthusiasm and determination to bring your expertise to the table to enhance and help move the organisation forward.
  • Proactive and confident in using your own initiative to share new ideas.
  • Financial literacy and confidence in working with budgets, setting KPIs targets, income forecasting and monitoring performance against plan.
  • Highly proficient fundraiser with the ability to diversify our fundraising strategies to ensure organisation's continued free therapy sessions to our members.
  • You'll be able to prioritise your workload to meet deadlines and manage administration.

Desirable Experience

  • Ability to research new funding opportunities and track record of working with trusts and foundations.
  • Experience in using a CRM system to support donor fundraising.

What will you be doing?

This role would suit someone who is willing to hit the ground running working remotely from home and choosing your own hours.
This role is key in securing financial support through donations, corporate partnerships, grants, and events sponsorship.
Your strategic insight will drive innovative fundraising campaigns that engage supporters at every level.

  • Responsible for creating a fundraising strategy with the CEO and Board of Trustees.
  • You will work with the core team to create corporate case studies.

This role provides an opportunity to directly impact the mental health services available to those who need them most, helping ensure the continuation and growth of Think Tenacity's community support.
