- Location: South & North London
- Contract: Full-time, Part-time
- Rates: From £18.50 (depending on experience)
Ideal Candidate
- Proven Experience: 2-4 years in frontline housing, tenancy, or homelessness roles.
- Legislative Knowledge: Strong grasp of Housing Act 1996 (Parts VI & VII), Homelessness Reduction Act, and relevant policy.
- Secured Background: Enhanced DBS registered
- Right experience: Preferably experience in working with councils
- Effective Caseload Management: Skilled in assessing, planning, and record-keeping for diverse, complex cases.
- Customer-Focused: Delivers empathetic, professional advice to diverse residents, including vulnerable individuals.
- Clear Communication: Excellent verbal/written skills, adept at negotiation and handling sensitive conversations.
- Safeguarding Aware: Experience identifying risks, making referrals, and implementing aversion plans.
- Collaborative: Builds strong relationships with internal council teams and external partners.
- Solutions-Oriented: Proactive in resolving issues, preventing homelessness, and finding sustainable options.
- IT Proficient: Competent with housing case management systems and MS Office for data and reporting.
- Resilient & Adaptable: Manages pressure, meets deadlines, and adapts to changing demands.
- Growth Mindset: Committed to continuous learning and service improvement.
