As one of the world's largest and highest-profile sporting events, UEFA EURO 2028 will attract the attention of the sporting and major event communities, the media, and the public at large across the UK& Ireland, Europe and the World. With its unique hosting model, the event promises to spread the impacts and benefits of the tournament across the nations and communities of the UK and Ireland

The Organisation

UK & Ireland 2028 Limited has been set up as a new company to locally deliver several UEFA requirements for the tournament, working closely with UEFA, 9 Host Stadiums, 8 Host Cities and other key stakeholders.

The Role

As a key member of the UK & Ireland 2028 Ltd. Programme Management Office (PMO), you'll play a vital role in ensuring the seamless planning, coordination, and delivery of this landmark tournament.

In this role, you'll embody our core values: Embrace the Opportunity, Achieve Excellence, and Thrive Together.

  • Build and nurture productive relationships with internal departments and external partners to support effective tracking of plans, milestones, and risks.
  • Assist in creating compelling presentations, insightful reports, and essential documentation that capture progress and performance.
  • Play an active role in coordinating and delivering key tournament milestones, helping to turn plans into reality.
  • Manage all travel and accommodation arrangements for the PMO team, liaising with stakeholders to ensure smooth logistics for meetings and site visits.
  • Coordinate PMO meetings — from scheduling and logistics to agendas, minutes, and action tracking — to keep everyone aligned and informed.
  • Take accurate, concise meeting notes that capture key actions and decisions.

What are we looking for?

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills with planning and reporting experience.
  • Proficient use of core MS Office software (PPT, Excel and Word).
  • Able to deliver high-quality written reports.
  • Strong presentation skills (creativity and communication).
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with different stakeholder groups.
  • Capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced environment, delivering work to deadlines and honouring commitments.
  • Able to communicate clearly and effectively with people at all levels, across different mediums.
  • Working independently, and with others, to solve problems.

Please see the attached Role Profile for more details

Where is the role based?

Our head office is based at the iconic Wembley Stadium in London, however depending on your role you may be required to travel across the UK and Ireland to our 9 Stadiums and 8 Host Cities, with some roles being based in those locations.

Everyone is welcome
