We're looking for a detail-oriented
Electrical Estimator
to support the delivery of high-voltage (HV) projects ranging from
11kV to 132kV substations and cabling works
.
You'll work alongside experienced engineers and project managers to develop accurate and competitive financial forecasts, helping ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead tendering activities for HV projects up to 132kV.
- Prepare supplier and subcontractor RFQs and scopes of work.
- Develop cost estimates and project programmes using MS Project.
- Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and suppliers to gather data and quotations.
- Monitor market trends and material costs to support accurate estimating.
- Assist in identifying project risks and support mitigation planning.
- Maintain accurate records of estimates, submissions, and correspondence.
- Ensure compliance with UK building regulations and internal standards.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in HV electrical estimating, particularly substations and cabling.
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Awareness of UK building regulations and health & safety practices.
