Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in dealing with customers for retails and trade. Managing financial records, processing accounts payable, and ensuring accurate reporting. This position requires proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks and Sage, and a strong understanding of financial processes. The ideal candidate will be proactive, possess excellent communication skills, and have a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

  • Dealing with customers in our showroom face to face, on the telephone and via email or social media platforms.
  • Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Maintain financial records using accounting software including QuickBooks and Sage.
  • Prepare and process invoices and other financial documents.
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial information is maintained.
  • Support audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
  • Stay updated on best practices in accounting and finance to enhance departmental efficiency.
  • Other office duties as requested.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks and Sage is preferred.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Previous experience in an administrative or accounting role is preferred but not mandatory.
  • General office duties including, scanning, photocopying and deaing with retail and trade customers in person, on the phone and via email.

This is a new role which could suit either a full time or part time person, this would be Monday -Friday hours to be discussed at interview.

Full driving licence and own vechile is required for this role as this could possibley be over 2 sites.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to £12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 37.5 per week
