Are you an experienced administrator looking for a flexible, part-time opportunity in the Cambridge area?

Bidwells is looking for a Part-time Administrator to join our Business Space Agency team at our head office in Trumpington, Cambridge.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a team that plays a pivotal role in shaping commercial property strategies for our clients.

Our Business Space Agency team does more than secure prime land – they help clients craft winning development strategies. By analysing tenant preferences and market trends, they enable clients to design spaces that attract leading businesses, ensuring long-term occupancy and maximising rental income.

Following a surge in new business, we're looking for someone who can provide essential administrative support to help manage the team's busy workload.

This role offers flexibility, with approximately 14 hours per week, which can be worked across 4–5 shorter days (Monday–Friday) or 2 full days (9:00am–5:00pm).

What you'll be doing:

  • Building relationships with key clients and internal teams
  • Handling enquiries and relaying messages accurately
  • Maintaining efficient filing systems
  • Arranging meetings and providing refreshments when required
  • General administration: scanning, invoicing, arranging "To Let" boards
  • Ensuring team compliance and maintaining records, including Anti-Money Laundering requirements
  • Updating and managing internal CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot)
  • Supporting job onboarding and preparing order books
  • Performing additional duties as reasonably required
  • Providing secretarial support/cover for the Commercial Team (holidays, absence, workload)
  • Recording deals and assisting with maintaining the "Databook"
  • Maintaining accurate property databases and meeting KPIs
  • Recording incoming property requirements

About You:

Essential

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Experience in a busy administrative role within a team environment
  • Excellent typing skills and attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication with the ability to build relationships quickly
  • Highly organised, able to prioritise, multitask and work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Flexible in supporting varied administrative needs

Desirable

  • Previous experience in property or professional services is desirable, however not essential
