E-Commerce Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Enhance the online customer journey to increase engagement, loyalty, and conversion rates.
• Coordinate with other members of the marketing team to plan and execute promotional campaigns, including on-site activation and promotional code management.
• Own and deliver e-commerce trading plans, ensuring promotions and product launches align with commercial goals.
• Analyse and report on sales performance and customer behaviour using both Magento and Google Analytics, providing actionable insights for future planning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver and implement seamless merchandising strategies that reflect brand identity and drive revenue.
• Curate and optimise product assortments to ensure a visually appealing and user-friendly shopping experience.
• Own web data analytics and customer insights to inform online merchandising and promotional decisions.
• Partner with web development teams to improve site functionality and overall user experience.
• Ensure product data integrity, including pricing, descriptions, and availability.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and e-commerce best practices to keep the brand at the forefront of digital innovation.

Essential Skills & Experience

• 2+ years' experience in an e-commerce role with a focus on Magento and WooCommerce (B2B and B2C).
• Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
• Proven ability to manipulate and interpret large datasets for reporting and insights.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (CSV, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
• Experience with Inventory Management Systems and CRM tools.
• Strong project and campaign management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
• Flexible and adaptable with exceptional time management.

Desirable

• Experience or interest in the hair, beauty, wellness industry is a big bonus, but not essential
• Familiarity with content management, Amazon and digital marketing.
• Experience in PPC is an advantage.
