Role overview: As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you'll play a key role in shaping and delivering our digital presence.

Personality: We're looking for someone who is curious, creative and commercially minded, combining data driven insight with fresh ideas that add real value to the business. You'll be confident taking ownership, proactive in spotting opportunities and collaborative in working with sales and with colleagues across the wider group to share good practice. A natural communicator, you'll bring energy and enthusiasm to digital marketing, always looking for better ways to connect with audiences and deliver results.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy and Planning

● Develop and implement end-to-end digital marketing strategies that align with business goals.

● Conduct market research and competitor analysis to uncover insights and guide planning.

● Define clear KPIs and measurable targets for all digital campaigns.

● Stay current with digital trends, tools, and best practices to keep us ahead of the curve.

Web Strategy, SEO & Content

● Lead the development of a high performing web strategy focused on user experience, conversion, and visibility.

● Oversee all content creation for the website, ensuring messaging is aligned, engaging, and SEO optimised.

● Support the build of a new website, contributing ideas on structure, design and wireframes to deliver an effective and user friendly platform

● Conduct keyword research and implement on page SEO best practices, including metadata, structure, and internal linking.

● Monitor site performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush (or similar tools), and continuously optimise based on insights.

● Adapt strategies in response to SEO algorithm updates and evolving user behaviour.

Campaign Management

● Plan and execute paid search and display campaigns with a focus on ROI - from keyword targeting to creative and bidding strategies.

● Manage campaign delivery across key platforms, ensuring timely engagement with audiences.

● Collaborate with the wider marketing team to create compelling, search optimised content (blogs, articles, videos, infographics, etc).

● Build and manage personalised email marketing campaigns through Dynamics, using marketing automation to drive lead generation.

Analytics & Reporting

● Track, analyse, and report on digital marketing performance, identifying opportunities for optimisation and growth.

● Deliver regular reporting on campaign KPIs and website performance, with actionable recommendations.

● Run A/B testing across digital assets (ads, emails, landing pages) to refine messaging and improve outcomes.

Project Management & Collaboration

● Manage multiple digital projects simultaneously, ensuring quality and timely delivery.

● Collaborate with sales and external partners to ensure a joined up approach across all digital activity.

● Monitor and manage digital marketing budgets effectively across channels and campaigns.

What we're looking for:

Experience & Skills

● Ideally, a degree in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline.

● Proven experience in digital marketing, supported by successful multichannel campaigns.

● Strong knowledge of SEO, including hands on use of tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Google Search Console.

● Proficiency with Google Analytics, Google Ads, and ideally Dynamics marketing module

● Demonstrated experience managing email campaigns.

● Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - with the ability to craft clear, persuasive messaging for different audiences.

● Strong grasp of content marketing, lead generation, and audience engagement.

● Highly analytical, with the ability to turn data into meaningful action.

● Well organised and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

● Self motivated and proactive, with a passion for continuous learning.

● Increase the volume and quality of digital leads to support UK growth targets, with at least 60% of new business opportunities coming through digital channels

● Strengthen our online presence through a consolidated, high performing website and improved SEO visibility

● Deliver digital campaigns that generate measurable ROI and drive enquiries across target sectors

● Enhance user experience across all digital touchpoints, ensuring interest converts into action

● Put in place clear reporting and insight processes so the business has full visibility of digital performance and opportunities

● Work closely with sales and colleagues across the group to create a joined up approach that supports cross sell opportunities and strengthens our market position
