**Job Description - Maintenance Operator/Handy Person**

**Reports to**: HSEQ/Facilities Manager

**Hours**: Monday - Friday 37.5 hours 8am-4pm

**Location**: Staci UK, Blackburn (Walker Park)

**Salary**:£19500-£22000 per annum depending on experience.

**JOB PURPOSE**
- To provide general building and fittings maintenance, repairs and improvements for our 3 sites in Blackburn, 1 site in Wigan and occasional support for our 2 sites in Leicester and Rugby.
- This includes:

- Plastering, joinery, brick laying, basic plumbing, painting, ground work
- Carrying out weekly fire & sprinkler system checks and ladder inspections
- Work will be prioritised by the HSEQ/Facilities Manager
- Tools will be provided and there is access to a company vehicle

**PERSON SPECIFICATION**
- Honest, friendly, well organised individual who is self motivated and able to work to a high standard.
- Good communications skills and can work well with operations teams, contractors and suppliers.
- Punctual and methodical with good problem solving skills
- Positive, can do attitude

**KEY CHALLENGES**
- Working in a busy environment for a growing business, the need for flexibility and working to time scales is important.
- Willingness to travel to all sites and occasionally flex hours around business needs.

**CRITICAL SKILLS**
- Clean driving licence
- Be able to work at height (ladder only)
- Compliance to health and safety requirements and able to carry out basic risk assessments
- Able to work alone

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £19,500.00-£22,000.00 per year
