What we are looking for:

Preferably least 5 years previous experience, as a commercial insurance sales executive

At least 5 years experience, in commercial insurance product lines - (Essential) Preferably Construction experience: Liability / Plant / Fleet etc

A highly motivated / determined sales executive – Essential

Experience with new business Sales, as well as handling / maintaining your existing client bank

Developing a new account from scratch – this will involve you being self sufficient / generating own leads etc, as well as dealing with referrals, working on lead database etc

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

High levels of customer care and service, professional providing quality advice.

Awareness of the insurance market principles and practice

Awareness of FCA and other regulations

Desire to achieve targets

Ability to work closely and flexibly with other team members

Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, integrity and commitment

Flexible and adaptable

At least 12 months experience with Acturis

Main duties (but not limited to)

Providing quotations for (Ideally) Combined Liability / Fleet / Engineering / Commercial Combined

Arranging client new business and renewal meetings

Mainly sourcing new business, however you will assist with Mid-term adjustments, issuance and renewals

Liaising and negotiating with Insurers and Underwriters

Developing relationships with insurers and underwriters

Working to achieve targets and deadlines

Prospecting and networking where applicable

Developing your account – this will involve you being self sufficient / generating own leads etc, as well as dealing with referrals, working on lead database etc
