Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in the City of Exeter The Business Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily branch operations, driving sales growth, managing budgets, and building strong relationships with customers and suppliers. The role includes mentoring and leading a team, ensuring excellent customer service, implementing company strategies, and making data-driven business decisions to achieve targets. The Business Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining operational efficiency and ensuring the branch meets its financial objectives.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in leading and developing teams
  • Proven sales and business development skills, including building and maintaining customer relationships
  • Financial acumen, with expertise in managing budgets, forecasting, and analyzing business performance
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with an ability to prioritize effectively
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Knowledge or experience in the electrical wholesale industry is a distinct advantage
