Head of Business / Dealer Principal

Pembrook Resourcing are currently recruiting for an experienced
Head of Business / Dealer Principal
on behalf of a well-renowned automotive group. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a successful dealership, driving performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction across all departments.

About the Role

As the Head of Business, you will take full responsibility for the operational and financial success of the dealership. You'll lead and inspire a high-performing team, ensure exceptional customer experiences, and deliver against manufacturer and group objectives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional leadership and direction to all departments and team members.
  • Ensure the dealership consistently delivers outstanding customer service.
  • Drive performance to meet and exceed all manufacturer and group targets.
  • Maintain brand standards and uphold the company's values of integrity, care, and professionalism.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop department managers and future leaders.
  • Ensure full compliance with health and safety and company policies.
  • Implement and deliver business strategies to maximise profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Lead by example in creating a positive, high-performance culture across the business.
  • Monitor KPIs and take proactive action to achieve business objectives.
  • Oversee the delivery of annual financial plans and business goals.

About You:

  • Proven track record in a Head of Business, Dealer Principal, or General Manager role within the motor trade.
  • Strong commercial awareness with excellent leadership and people management skills.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to inspire and influence at all levels.
  • Highly organised, target-driven, and able to work under pressure.
  • Strong IT and numerical skills.
  • Committed to confidentiality, professionalism, and continuous improvement.

Additional Requirements:

  • Full valid UK driving licence
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
