Norfolk Museums Service is looking to appoint a highly motivated Development Officer to help grow support for our museums, heritage projects and community programmes.
You will work closely with the Head of Development and Trustees of the Norfolk Museums Development Foundation to secure vital income from trusts and foundations, individual donors and corporate sponsors. You will play a key role in researching prospects, writing funding bids, organising cultivation events and overseeing the stewardship of our funders.
The postholder also works closely with the Communications Manager on PR and advocacy campaigns to raise awareness of the service's achievements and strengthen our reputation with funders, stakeholders and partners.
The successful candidate will be a confident communicator with excellent organisational skills, and have experience of successful fundraising and event planning, preferably within the arts and heritage sectors.
