We are looking to welcome a Project Support Officer to our Health and Wellbeing Team in a role where you will be able to develop your skills whilst being involved in projects that positively impact the health and wellbeing of our residents. We are a small but busy team, focused on developing and delivering projects that empower and enable our residents to live happier, healthier lives. We work closely with our partners to align our priorities and integrate our work. We are led by data and intelligence and support a number of complex workstreams.

In this rewarding role, you'll be supporting the development of projects within our Health and Wellbeing Partnerships, co-ordinating and monitoring a range of exciting prevention activity. Partnership working will be at the heart of all that you do, developing project proposals that help us deliver on our ambitious strategies.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing support in the coordination and monitoring of a range of projects, including developing project briefs.
  • Working with partners to develop Expressions of Interest into fully formed project proposals for approval by the Priority Delivery Groups.
  • Maintaining a documented overview of key projects commissioned by the partnerships being delivered, including monitoring of expenditure, claims, outputs and outcomes.
  • Organising and coordinating project and board meetings, including collating and preparing agenda documents and taking and distributing minutes and actions.
  • Undertaking research, collecting and analysing data for the Health and Wellbeing Lead support delivery of the project and associated work streams.

About You

The ideal candidate will have experience of working within a project-based environment, evidencing delivery of outputs and outcomes. You will have basic knowledge of project principles, behaviours and frameworks, together with sound knowledge of administrative procedures, project management and information analysis.

You will have experience of arranging meetings, distributing papers and taking minutes, be proficient in the use of spreadsheets and databases, and be able to produce clear and concise written material of a standard appropriate to the audience.
