Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Educator to join our team. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a crucial role in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children to learn and grow. You will be responsible for planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, observing and assessing children's development, and building positive relationships with both children and their families.

Duties

- Plan and deliver engaging and interactive lessons and activities that promote learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework

- Create a safe and inclusive environment that supports the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development of each child

- Observe, assess, and record children's progress, identifying areas for improvement or additional support

- Collaborate with other educators and professionals to create individualized learning plans for children with special needs or specific learning requirements

- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians, providing updates on their child's progress, achievements, and areas for development

- Foster positive relationships with children, promoting their self-esteem, confidence, and independence

- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care at all times

- Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, accidents, and any other relevant information

Requirements

- Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field

- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework

- Experience working with young children in an educational setting

- Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues

- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children

- Ability to adapt to different learning styles and individual needs

- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
