Job Summary

We are seeking 2 dedicated and enthusiastic Qualified Practitioners to join our amazing team who work in the beautiful Peak District, close to Chatsworth House. We are a new nursery, placing staff wellbeing at the top of our priority list (along side supporting our wonderful families of course). We are working hard to create a well qualified, dedicated, passionate and fun team of individuals who can support each other to be the best practitioners that they can be. Both roles are permanent, one being full time and over 4 days a week (meaning a day off in the week). The other role will be lunch cover 10-2, perfect for anyone looking for a job to fit in with school runs

Responsibilities

  • Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children.
  • Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote early childhood development.
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships.
  • Manage daily operations within the nursery, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in childcare and early education.
  • Support children's individual needs and encourage their social, emotional, and physical development.
  • Drive to various locations as required for training sessions.

Experience

  • Previous experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential.
  • A background in early childhood education is highly desirable.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Experience in planning educational programmes tailored to children's developmental stages.
