Group Reservations Supervisor

We are looking for a dynamic Senior Reservationist to join our Reservations and Revenue Team.

The Titanic Hotel Liverpool is all about the restoration of one of our city's most historic and iconic buildings. Due to Open in May 2014, as a World Heritage site it forms part of the Stanley Dock Village development overlooking the waters of Stanley Dock. The hotel will be a hotel of unequalled proportion of size, service and style. The hotel has 153 bedrooms, The Rum Warehouse – our Events space with a capacity for 800 guests, the Titanic Spa, Stanley's Café & Stanley's Champagne Bar.

The Groups Reservation Supervisor will be responsible for supporting the revenue manager and supervise all aspects of the group's reservations department. He / She will be detail orientated and will be part of the team to set and maintain standards.

Job description

· The position will report directly to the Revenue Manager.

· To formulate and implement strategies with the Revenue Manager in order to maximise Rooms Yield.

· To assist the revenue team in providing an efficient, accurate and friendly groups reservations service to our guests.

· To conduct effectively the daily operation of the Groups Reservation Department, in order to maximise rooms yield and appropriate market share.

· To be responsible for the consistent delivery of Group Reservation standards as outlined in the Standard Operating procedures Manual.

· Providing information to guests and potential guests on the hotel and the local area.

· Effective call management ensuring standards procedures are complied with at all times ensuring the maximization of revenue with each booking.

· Support the Revenue Manager and Reservations Supervisor on a daily basis to maximise rev par opportunities

· Ensure that administration duties are completed accurately and in a timely manner each day, to include correspondence checks, market segmentation tracking, deposits, traces and none guaranteed bookings

· To prepare, update and produce all relevant reports, as requested by the Revenue Manager.

· To respond to all enquiries to the standard required and to maintain a database of business denials to date, competitor analysis, company details, and other client histories as required by the Revenue Manager.
