As Reservations Coordinator you will be responsible for management and development of individual reservations, group allocation and city event segments of room sales. This role is essential to contributing to the success of the Sales and Revenue team, therefore, must perform the following tasks in a busy environment to the highest standards:

- Management of individual reservations.
- Management of groups and allocations from time of booking through contract to arrival
- Build meaningful relationships with bookers and agents
- Deliver effective communication between the office, reception, accounts and operations teams ensuring successful delivery of all group requests and requirements.
- Attend and proactively contribute at weekly rooms operations meeting
- Attend weekly sales meeting to identify and develop future potential.
- Special event period management to maximise revenue at these peak times
- Identify opportunities with city wide events and repeat group bookings

To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:

- Previous experience in a hotel reservation or reception role
- Faultless communication and telephone skills
- Positive, welcoming attitude
- Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
- Excellent grooming standards
- Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
- Competent level of IT proficiency
- Strong organisation skills and attention to detail

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

- Previous experience in a sales led environment
- A BA Hons degree or higher in Leisure & Tourism or Event Management

Pay: £12.00 per hour
