Domestic Abuse Housing Co-ordinator
About The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen, following a review of the Housing Departments service and response to Domestic Abuse.

You will be fundamental in assisting with the coordination of Wirral Councils Strategic response to the housing needs of Domestic Abuse survivors, and to support the processes surrounding the commissioning of supported housing services to people experiencing, or at risk of social exclusion.

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic person to work as part of the existing housing services team.

About The Candidate
We would like to hear from you if you understand housing issues experienced by people experiencing or at risk of social exclusion and an understanding of housing issues experienced by people fleeing domestic abuse, and the underpinning legislative framework.

You will have an NVQ level 3 in Housing/Supported Housing or related field and/or relevant extensive experience in related field in Homelessness/Supported Housing and an understanding of the requirements of The Domestic Abuse Act 2021, and specifically how they relate to housing.

You will have experience in planning your own workload and working to tight deadlines, to accurately maintain records/statements and findings along with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationship with colleagues and external agencies.
