The Role:
- The role of Virtual School Primary Coordinator will provide leadership and coordination to ensure high-quality education and positive transitions for primary-aged Looked After Children
- Delivery of effective systems for monitoring progress, quality assurance of Personal Education Plans (PEPs), and impactful use of Pupil Premium Plus funding
- In the role, you will act as the main contact for primary schools, offering expert advice on admissions, attendance, exclusions, and achievement
- The role of Virtual School Primary Coordinator is pivotal in driving improvements in educational outcomes through collaboration with schools, social care, and multi-agency partners
- Your demonstrable knowledge as a primary education specialist with experience of supporting vulnerable children will enable you to influence practice and promote stability and progress
- The role requires strong organisational skills, a commitment to corporate parenting, and the ability to lead training and development for professionals working with Looked After Children, and care experienced children

Interview type: in person interview, designed to assess your experience, knowledge, and skills against the requirements of the role and Liverpool City Council's competency framework (Level 2). It will include a mix of structured questions, a presentation and an unseen practical exercise.
