We are a small Nottingham Company providing an administrative management service for Medical Consultants and Healthcare Professionals working within the Private Health Sector.

We are looking to strengthen our collections team at a time when we are driving to develop our processes and grow the business, we are seeking enthusiastic and self-motivated individuals with an ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.

A knowledge of medical insurance and medical terminology would to an advantage but not essential.

The main focus of this position is to deal with the collection of payments, encompassing all aspects of the administration process.

You will be required to have your own computer/laptop with Windows 10 or above, as well as a reliable internet connection. This post is a remote post working from home.

Collections Team Member - Salary £23,809.00

Working within the collections team, you will be required to carry out all duties in a timely manner with attention to detail and accuracy being vital.

Duties:

  • Debt Collection
  • Accurate processing of payments by BACS, cheque, credit/debit card and any other means
  • Resolving patient and client financial queries
  • Adherence to Data Protection guidelines
  • Liaising with consultants and management to provide updates on outstanding debt
  • Assisting the finance department with adhoc administration duties

Desired Skills

GCSE Maths and English

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office package, Excel being the main one
  • Basic IT skills (Windows)
  • Previous experience within a finance department
  • Previous debt collection experience
