Are you an experienced wastewater professional with a passion for sharing knowledge and developing others? We're looking for a Technical Training Lead who brings deep operational expertise and a desire to coach and mentor teams to success.

This role is perfect for someone who's worked in wastewater operations and wants to transition into a role focused on training, coaching, and competency development. You'll be supported to gain teaching qualifications if needed—what matters most is your technical credibility and enthusiasm for helping others learn.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Deliver hands-on technical training and assessments
  • Coach individuals and support their development
  • Collaborate with SMEs to build relevant training content
  • Use tools like Clever Nelly to assess and track competency
  • Continuously improve training delivery and content

What You'll Bring

  • Extensive experience in wastewater operations
  • Strong understanding of regulatory and safety standards
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly
  • Desire to support others and share knowledge
  • Level 3 qualification (or willingness to undertake one)

Package

This role will be full time Monday to Friday 37 hours a week.  

Southern Water operate a hybrid approach to working between our Falmer office/sites and home.
