Overview
We are a friendly, successful training practice with a list size of 10,000. Our team consists of 5 GP Partners, 1 Salaried GP and an excellent nursing and admin support.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our practice. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of financial management, and a passion for patient care. This role is crucial in ensuring that our team operates efficiently while providing the highest level of service to our patients.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the practice staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Oversee financial management, including budgeting, accounting, and financial reporting.
- Handle human resources functions such as recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and employee relations.
- Ensure compliance with all regulations and standards of care.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance practice efficiency.
- Patient services
- Organisational planning
- Information management and technology
- Management of premises, equipment and stock
- Ongoing personal development
Skills
- Proven experience in a managerial role, preferably within a General Practice or healthcare setting.
- Strong management skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
- Proficiency in financial management principles, including budgeting and financial analysis.
- Knowledge of human resources practices related to recruitment, training, and employee development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with staff and patients alike.
