The Role
We are seeking four passionate and motivated individuals to join our Board of Trustees. As a Trustee, you'll play a key role in guiding the strategic direction of FlyForwardUK, ensuring we remain focused, sustainable, and impactful as we grow.
This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape an emerging aviation charity that's inspiring the next generation of aviation professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the overall strategy and vision of FlyForwardUK
- Provide advice on communications, legal matters, and organisational development
- Support with refining and implementing ideas to help FlyForwardUK "fly" into the future
- Maintain regular contact through our WhatsApp group and quarterly board meetings
- Act as an ambassador for FlyForwardUK at events and within your network
Skills & Experience
- We're looking for individuals who are:
- Passionate about aviation and supporting young people
- Confident with technology (Microsoft Office, Zoom, and general computing)
- Creative thinkers with good communication and teamwork skills
- Experienced in any relevant area (e.g. strategy, law, education, engineering, marketing, or aviation)
Commitment
- 100% volunteer role
- Quarterly meetings (virtual)
- Ongoing engagement through our WhatsApp group and optional in-person events
