Service Advisor – Prestige & Performance Specialist

STB Automotive | Larkhall

Salary: £27,000 – £30,000 per year (depending on experience)

Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 am – 5:30pm

Additional Hours: One late night per week (until 8 pm) and every second Saturday (8:00 am – 12:30 pm)

Our workshop is clean, well-equipped, and built around a close-knit team that takes real pride in our work and reputation.

The Role

We're looking for an experienced Service Advisor / Front of House professional to help us look after our clients and keep the workshop running smoothly day to day.

This is a hands-on role where you'll be involved in everything from taking bookings and ordering parts, to keeping clients updated and making sure jobs flow efficiently through the workshop.

If you enjoy working with people, have strong organisational skills, and love being around performance cars, this could be a great fit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcoming clients and ensuring they receive a professional, friendly experience
  • Managing bookings, job cards, and workflow using Garage Hive
  • Ordering parts and liaising with suppliers for pricing and deliveries
  • Communicating updates clearly to clients and the workshop team
  • Using systems such as Garage Hive, Xero, SumUp, Autodata, Bentley Erwin, and BMW AOS
  • Keeping the front of house area organised and running smoothly

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a dealership service reception, automotive admin, or parts role
  • A confident communicator with great people skills
  • Organised, proactive, and able to think one step ahead
  • Comfortable using computers and learning new systems
  • Someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a small, hardworking team
  • Full UK driving licence
