We're looking for a confident, organised, and enthusiastic
Events Sales Coordinator
to join our cluster team supporting two of Glasgow's most iconic hotels. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career across two stunning properties whilst working with a passionate and supportive team. Reporting to the Cluster Meeting and Events Manager you must be available to work 40 hours per week typically between Monday and Friday with occasional weekend days (all additional hours worked are paid).
What You'll Be Doing
As our
Events Sales Coordinator
, you'll be at the heart of our Meeting & Events team. You will:
- Be the first point of contact for event enquiries from conferences to weddings, proms, charity galas, awards dinners, Christmas party nights, and everything in between.
- Respond to enquiries via phone and email, check availability, and create tailored proposals that showcase what makes our hotels special.
- Work closely with clients to convert enquiries into confirmed bookings, helping us maximise sales and revenue.
- Manage a high volume of enquiries and stay ahead of the competition by acting quickly and professionally.
- Build great relationships with clients, truly understanding their needs and helping to deliver memorable experiences.
- Conduct show rounds across both properties sharing the stories, spaces, and stand-out features that make each event unique.
- Prepare contracts, gather deposit payments, and ensure every detail is accurate and organised.
We'd love to hear from you if you have
:
- Events experience - whether you have previously worked in Hotels or Restaurants.
- Strong organisational, administrative skills and high attention to detail.
- A warm, positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- A confident telephone manner
- Experience working previously within different market segments, having built relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- A passion for delivering top-tier customer service.
- Good IT skills and the ability to pick up systems quickly.
