Commercial Account Handler – Manchester M28 - Up to £42,000

LNJ are delighted to be recruiting for a highly regarded and successful broker, based in West Manchester. They are seeking an experienced Commercial Account Handler to join their expanding team, offering an excellent opportunity to work within a small, professional environment with strong career development prospects.

The Role

The successful candidate will have a key focus on bringing on new business, while also managing a portfolio of existing commercial accounts. Responsibilities will include handling MTAs, renewals, and client queries, as well as developing relationships with prospective clients. The role involves working with a range of commercial insurance products, including SME, property owners, and mini-fleet, and daily use of Acturis software to support account management and client communications.

The Ideal Candidate

The company is looking for someone who has:

  • At least 5 years' experience in commercial account handling
  • Experience using Acturis
  • Knowledge of property owners insurance, mini-fleet, and general SME insurance
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence dealing with both clients and colleagues
  • A proactive approach to generating new business
