Energy business with exciting growth plans is looking for an exceptional Internal Communications Lead to shape and deliver a UK-wide internal communications strategy that builds a strong, unified internal brand.
This is in a complex matrix setting and need someone who has worked in similar commercial environment and understands how to navigate across Group and business divisions to drive overarching culture, purpose and and ensure consistent strategic messaging and plans.
Heading key initiatives, events, and channels, and working closely with senior stakeholders and Head of Corporate Comms with support of a Comms Manager. Also take lead on strategic planning for the team to ensure system to track all activities across business units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver a comprehensive internal communications plan and narrative.
- Lead all internal comms channels, events, and activities, acting as strategic advisor and content editor.
- Produce engaging internal content including presentations, intranet articles, and speeches.
- Design and deliver flagship events such as colleague awards and leadership conferences.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to advise on internal comms and coordinate their input.
- Own and manage the comms team planning grid to align internal and external priorities.
- Support the Head of Communications in planning strategic communications around corporate goals.
- Measure and report on the impact of communications, aiming for internal recognition and external awards.
Must have previous internal comms experience in a matrix corporate environment ideally energy or engineering. Used to fast paced and able to set clear plan and priorities. Strong stakeholder management acting as a trusted advisor and getting buy in from teams.
Can be based anywhere in UK but must commute to London one day a week.
