Supply Teacher Needed
We work with several schools throughout GL7, and there is a consistent need for supply Teachers. This work would come through on a supply basis, covering sick days in various schools we work with in this area. This can come in days in advance or sometimes on the day itself, depending on whether you're happy to be contacted on such short notice. Often we get notified prior to the morning of, that there is sickness that needs covering. This could be for full days or half, and can be across KS1 or KS2.
We are looking for someone who is open-minded and flexible. Someone who is happy to adapt their Teaching methods to various age groups and happy to work in different schools. There are no set days or guaranteed work, so the right candidate will be happy to work on an ADHOC basis. We need someone who has experience of Teaching and has all of the right qualifications to do so. There is a great deal of sickness recently, so there has been constant supply work.
What will you need to do on a daily basis?
- Lead the lessons, work will be given so you just need to get through the lesson plan given to you
- Show excellent curriculum knowledge
- Manage behavior effectively
- Promote and nurture independence
- Build positive working relationships with children and adults alike
