A fantastic Primary School in the BS35 area of South Gloucestershire is currently looking for a highly skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join their aspiring team.

This is a thriving and inclusive mainstream school, who are passionate about the broad, ambitious and growing curriculum that they provide to their pupils, allowing a well-resourced and safe environment for them to learn and grow. 

The Role 

This role is a full-time position, where the successful candidate will work throughout all Primary Year Groups supporting small group intervention work. 

At times, in the absence of the Class Teacher, you will be required to have a reflective and versatile approach to teaching and learning.

You will be expected to: 

  • Follow the school's ethos and values. 
  • Has experience supporting children with SEND
  • Have good knowledge of the educational curriculum. 
  • Be flexible, creative and adaptable. 
  • Have high expectations of pupils through motivation, encouragement and confidence.
