Location:
Hybrid/Flexible (Office located: Lancashire, WN8)

We are looking for a talented Business Central Developer to join Chemist4U's growing tech team. In this role, you'll develop and support our Business Central ERP platform, working closely with Operations, Finance, and other Development teams to drive business change and deliver high-quality solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact in a growing company while working in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and implement custom solutions within Dynamics 356 Business Central (AL)
  • Build and maintain extensions, integrations and custom modules to meet business specific needs
  • Collaborate with the product owner to translate requirements into robust technical specifications
  • Optimise performance and ensure code quality through testing, peer review and best practice development
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for deployed solutions post go-live
  • Keep up to date with the latest BC features, tools and development practices
  • Contribute to internal development standards
  • Create and update product documentation and training guides.

About you

You are a pragmatic, solutions-driven developer who thrives in a fast-moving, evolving environment. You bring strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, particularly in AL development, and demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills with a sharp eye for detail. You communicate clearly, collaborate confidently with cross-functional teams, and are experienced in API integrations, web services, and extension development. Ideally, you also understand core finance and warehouse processes within Business Central.

Qualifications & Experience

The Successful Business Central Developer will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Strong hands-on development experience with Business Central
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams
  • Confident in Dynamics Business Central AL development
  • Strong experience with API integrations, web services and extension
  • Ideally have experience with Finance and warehouse functions within BC
  • Have degree (or equivalent professional training) in data science, computer science, or a related discipline
  • Microsoft MB-820 Dynamics 356 Business Central Developer Certified is ideal.
