Job Purpose

To implement the approved strategy for assigned channels / pages. The role will include working on social accounts for Latin American TV formats in local language.

Responsibilities

  • Run the day-to-day operations (and coordination with local stakeholders) of assigned channels and pages on platforms such as YouTube, Facebook and other social video platforms; proactively use audience development best practice to create compelling viewer and brand experiences
  • Liaise with local broadcasters in local language when required, sharing best practice and digital strategy for pre agreed channels – including regular calls with all stakeholders
  • Developing always on publishing strategies with local licensees and helping to determine best way to operationalize
  • Write copy relating to the videos programmed for the channels to either appear on the site or for use in promotion elsewhere. Devise and deploy optimal written metadata including titles and tags
  • Brief Channel Coordinators, interns and other stakeholders on programming strategy and channel optimisation for assigned accounts
  • Coordinate with producers, broadcaster and talent to ensure publishing strategy is aligned with all different stakeholders
  • Work closely with Content Operations team to make sure the flow of assets and information ensures that the publishing schedule is always met
  • Brief editors to create compelling clips and compilations for assigned social accounts
  • Check analytics and pull reports to inform ongoing strategy
  • Work with the Head of Channel Strategy, local sales team and broadcasters to ensure network strategy is executed
  • Work with platform teams to resolve any day to day operational queries with the channels
  • Work with local sales teams to ensure appropriate geo blocking policies are in place for all publishing efforts
  • Build publishing trackers to ensure all TV format exploitation is appropriately monitored
  • Where applicable be flexible with working patterns to accommodate additional requests or meetings with local teams.

Knowledge and Skills Required

  • At least 2 year experience of running YouTube channels (or other relevant digital platforms) whether that be for a Creator, MCN, Publisher of personal channel
  • Experience of Facebook video and growing a Facebook audience
  • Knowledge of all key social video platforms including Instagram, Tik Tok etc.
  • Interest in extending television brands into the online space
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong copywriting skills & high attention to grammatical detail
  • The ability to build relationships fast and have strong communications skills
  • The ability to work in team environments
  • Primary fluency / bilingual proficiency in Spanish language (preferably Neutral Spanish)
  • Experience working with local TV broadcasters/media companies in the Latam region

Desirable

  • Experience of working with TV content on social media
  • Experience working with TV talent or Comedians
  • Digital marketing knowledge
  • Some basic skills working with the Adobe Creative Cloud suite

Reporting to

Head of Channel Strategy, or their nominated replacement.

You will work closely with the Digital Network Manager who will oversee day to day priorities and

workload management.
