Job description

We are seeking to recruit an Regional Sales Manager (South).

The role contributes to the success of Fireward by driving activity in the market. The key objective is to achieve annual sales targets, retain profitability and grow the customer base within the assigned sales area. Deliver a high level of customer service by ensuring all incoming customer enquiries are actioned professionally and in a timely manner. To ensure compliance with the Company's Health & Safety Policy, Environmental Policy and Quality system.

Objectives:

The role contributes to the success of Fireward by driving activity in the market. The key objective is to achieve annual sales targets, retain profitability and grow the customer base within the assigned sales area. Deliver a high level of customer service by ensuring all incoming customer enquiries are actioned professionally and in a timely manner. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Contributes to the sales growth of the company by generating sales leads, effective networking, referrals and prospecting in the assigned sales area.
  • Successfully penetrates and closes business opportunities to achieve revenue targets.
  • Effectively organises diary to ensure assigned sales areas are covered. Prepares and follows up quotations.
  • Inputs all sales activity into the CRM tool to ensure sales opportunities are visible at all times
  • Delivers the company sales presentation to the UK customer base.
  • Inputs all lost orders into the CRM tool to ensure data can be analysed.
  • Negotiates effectively with the customer to achieve profitability targets.
  • Maintains an excellent relationship with operations ensuring that the correct specifications for orders are delivered to the customer.
  • Works alongside the sales office and other departments to maximise productivity and reduce costs.
  • Actively develops a network of new customer relationships.
  • Maintains and develops an excellent relationship with existing clients, establishing regular communication to be able to assess any new requirements.
  • Maintains an accurate database of all customer contact details and shares this information willingly with other areas of the business.
  • Takes ownership for customer complaints, remains the key customer point of contact and resolves these to a satisfactory conclusion.
  • Takes the initiative to be involved with product and industry exhibitions when required.
  • Takes responsibility for self development and attends technical training courses where required.
  • Be aware of the duty to take care of your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by your actions at work.
  • Co-operate, report unsafe conditions and comply with the Company's Health & Safety Policy, Environmental Policy and Quality system.

Skills Required:

  • High level of technical sales ability
  • Able to demonstrate ability to work effectively in a pressurised environment.
  • Computer literate with excellent application skills in MS office
  • Smart and well presented
  • Team player
  • Outstanding communication skills and can demonstrate how this has been used effectively in a team environment
  • Flexible approach to work
  • Motivated

Experience necessary to perform this role:

  • Strong sales experience
  • Strong customer relationships
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • CRM Management
  • Heavy Plant Experience Desired
