Analyst – Global Logistics Real Estate

Norges Bank Investment Management is seeking a dedicated and results-oriented professional for the position as Analyst in its Real Estate group, part of the Active Strategies area, and within the Global Logistics Real Estate team.
The Global Logistics Real Estate team operates from both London and New York and is responsible for managing unlisted investments in the industrial and logistics sector across North America and Europe. The team is currently overseeing a portfolio valued at over $25bn GAV, representing over 35% of NBIM's global unlisted real estate portfolio by NAV.
The team is part of the wider Real Estate group, comprising over 40 real estate professionals working across different geographies, sectors and, both public and private markets.
The position is based in London and will report to the Head of Global Logistics Real Estate who is based in New York. Occasional travel to assets throughout Continental Europe, North America, and the UK will be required.
Duties And Responsibilities
What you will do
- Conduct rigorous financial analysis and modelling for new investment opportunities
- Prepare investment committee presentations and memoranda
- Monitor and analyse the operational and financial performance of existing investments
- Assist with the daily management of existing real estate investments, including interaction with joint venture partners and third-party service providers
- Contribute to group collaboration and sharing knowledge across the NBIM organisation
Qualifications (heading)
What You Need
- University degree with strong academic records
- 2-4 years of relevant real estate investment experience, preferably from a top real estate, investment or fund manager
- Experience working with the industrial and logistics sector is considered an advantage
- Excellent financial analysis and modelling skills, and high level of proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
