Warehouse Operative (Agency – IKEA Contract)

Agency: [365 Logistics ] | Location: IKEA Distribution Centre | Pay: £100 a day 6-hour night shift

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work night shifts (approx. 6 hours) through an agency contract supporting IKEA's warehouse operations.
  • Loading and unloading IKEA vans efficiently, ensuring items were organised by delivery route.
  • Handling large and heavy flat-pack furniture and stock safely using correct manual handling techniques.
  • Checking delivery sheets to confirm item accuracy and prevent dispatch errors.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe loading area in line with warehouse health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with drivers and team members to meet strict overnight dispatch deadlines.
  • Use pallet jacks and trolleys to move goods efficiently around the loading bay.
  • Demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • Must be reliable and punctual.
  • Physically fit (lifting involved).
  • Able to work nights.
  • 7-day availability preferred.
