About the Role:

We're looking for an experienced and proactive Warehouse Operations Manager to lead our warehouse team and oversee day-to-day operations. This is a senior, hands-on role that offers genuine autonomy must demonstrate flexibility and be able to structure your working hours around operational needs.

You'll play a key role in shaping our warehouse strategy, managing people and processes, and driving continuous improvement. We're seeking someone who can combine strong leadership with a practical understanding of warehouse efficiency, safety, and performance.

With a keen eye to cost control

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations including goods in/out, storage, logistics, and inventory control.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the warehouse team to deliver high standards and meet KPIs.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance productivity, accuracy, and safety.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and industry regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align warehouse operations with overall business goals.
  • Manage staffing levels, rotas, and workflows with a focus on flexibility and efficiency.
  • Exercise full autonomy in day-to-day decision-making while contributing to long-term operational planning.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a senior warehouse, logistics, or operations management role.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Comfortable working with data, KPIs, and warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • A flexible approach — able to adapt to changing priorities and balance strategic and hands-on work.
